For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction.

Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh.

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
